1. Ciante Evans, CGY
Age: 26
Starts in 2018: 14
Key stats: 29 tackles, two interceptions & one forced fumble
Notes: Has been excellent at field-side cornerback in Calgary. Would be interesting to see how he’d fare elsewhere in the secondary. Reportedly looking at AAF options.

2. Emanuel Davis, CGY
Age: 29
Starts in 2018: 18
Key stats: 55 tackles & four interceptions
Notes: Enjoyed a nice bounce-back season in Calgary after falling out of favour in Hamilton. Solid veteran.

Notes: Was traded to Montreal mid-season and never looked fully comfortable. Good cover skills but shies away from physicality.

4. Ronnie Yell, TOR
Age: 27
Starts in 2018: 18
Key stats: 47 tackles, two interceptions & two forced fumbles
Notes: Versatile veteran who can slot in at cornerback or halfback.

5. Garry Peters, B.C.
Age: 27
Starts in 2018: 18
Key stats: 73 tackles, two interceptions & one sack
Notes: Had a decent bounce-back season in 2018, not counting the time he tried to jam Duke Williams at the line of scrimmage.
