The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have re-signed Canadian defensive back Mike Daly.
Daly won the starting free safety job over Courtney Stephen in training camp last season and he played 18 games recording a career-high 53 tackles along with seven passes defended and three interceptions, one of which he took back for a touchdown.
The 28-year-old has spent all five of his CFL seasons in Hamilton since being selected in the sixth round, 45th overall during the 2013 CFL draft. Daly has 77 tackles, 31 special teams stops, 11 passes defended, seven interceptions, one sack and one forced fumble in 69 career games.Â
