Wild played in 15 games making 12 tackles and 12 special teams stops during the 2018 season. He had been relegated to largely a special teams role with Jovan Santos-Knox taking over the starting weakside linebacker spot.
Overall, Wild spent the first six seasons of his CFL career in Winnipeg. Through 67 games the 28-year-old has made 245 tackles, 60 special teams stops, eight sacks, one interception while scoring three defensive touchdowns.
