Canadian DB Tevaughn Campbell signs with New York Jets

Canadian defensive back Tevaughn Campbell has signed with the New York Jets, per NFL sources.

Campbell has played four CFL seasons for three different teams: Calgary Stampeders, Saskatchewan Roughriders and Montreal Alouettes. The 25-year-old made 53 tackles, nine special teams stops, four interceptions, scored three touchdowns, forced two fumbles and notched one sack in 42 games.

Campbell is known for speed after ripping off a 4.35 40-yard dash time during the 2015 CFL combine.
