Bombers agree to extension with all-star OL Stanley Bryant

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have agreed to a one-year extension with all-star offensive lineman Stanley Bryant through the 2019 season.

Bryant captured the CFL’s Most Outstanding Lineman award in 2017 and he’s the odds on favourite to claim the same title in 2018. The 32-year-old started all 18 games at left tackle for the Bombers offence that led the league in points (30.6) and rushing yards (134.9) per game during the regular season.

The nine-year CFL veteran has been named an all-star three times (2013, 2014 and 2017) while winning a Grey Cup with the Calgary Stampeders in 2014, where he spent the first five years of his career. Bryant has started 138 career games, including a current streak of 83 consecutive games played.
