Eskimos QB Mike Reilly misses walk through due to illness, expected to start against Redblacks

The Edmonton Eskimos scared fans for a few minutes Friday when Mike Reilly was absent from the team’s walkthrough Friday.

The Eskimos host Ottawa in a critical game for Edmonton playoff aspirations during the Week 18 slate. If Reilly was out of the lineup that would have been a major piece missing, obviously. Kevin Glenn is a reliable backup and guided the cub through Friday’s practice, although, he has yet to touch the field in 2018.

Reilly has played 15 games leading the CFL with 4,605 passing yards and ranks second behind Bo Levi Mitchell with 27 touchdown passes.
