The agent for B.C. Lions quarterback Jon Jennings has responded to general manager Ed Hervey questioning his client’s work ethic.
Statement from Jonathon Jennings’ agent @bardia_g: “Jonathon is one of the first to arrive to work every day. Ed would know this if Ed weren’t one of the last. Like many quarterbacks, Jonathon’s routine is to do additional film study on his own at home every night.” @CFLonTSN

Jennings is 2-3 as the Lions starter in 2018 throwing for 1,228 yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions while completing over 67 per cent of his passes. He said “no comment” when asked about what Hervey said at halftime on TSN.
It’s the first year Jennings and Hervey have been on a team together and the relationship started by the GM getting the 26-year-old to take a pay cut. Jennings is a pending free agent in February so the jabs back and forth seem to preview a possible split between Jennings and the Lions.
