Eskimos sign receiver Kevin Elliott

The Edmonton Eskimos have signed receiver Kevin Elliott.

The 29-year-old made 14 catches for 176 yards and one touchdown in five games with the Lions after signing in May, but B.C. released Elliott in September once Ed Hervey signed DeVier Posey.

Elliott broke into the CFL in 2015 with the Argos making 50 receptions for 642 yards and eight touchdowns in 16 games. After playing eight games in 2016, Elliott was released by Toronto along with three other pass catchers. He played parts of two seasons in Hamilton and then spent time as an Ottawa Redblack last season.
