Cris Carter says son Duron will be a ‘better person’ from Marc Trestman experience

Marc Trestman clearly made a lasting impact on Pro Football Hall of Fame receiver Cris Carter.

Now the father is hoping that some of that wisdom will be passed onto his son.

Back in 1990, Carter was a surprise training camp cut by the Eagles due to off the field issues with drug and alcohol abuse. The season prior, Carter led Philadelphia in touchdown catches with 11, and the Vikings claimed Carter off waivers. Trestman was the quarterback coach during the 1990 and 1991 seasons in Minnesota.

The Argos signed son Duron Carter and dad clearly feels the CFL star is going to benefit from being with Trestman.
