Terrell Owens trains with NHL star P.K. Subban

Hall of Fame receiver Terrell Owens continues to train for a possible comeback to football and on Tuesday he worked out with NHL all-star defenceman P.K. Subban.

Subban wrote on his Instagram story that he believes Owens ‘should be in the league’.

During 16 NFL seasons, Owens had 15,934 career receiving yards which rank second all-time in NFL history and 153 receiving touchdowns put him third. He was a five-time first-team All-Pro in the NFL. Owens was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame as part of the 2018 class.

The 44-year-old receiver was added then dropped from the Edmonton Eskimos negotiation list. After that Saskatchewan Roughriders head coach and general manager Chris Jones took an up-close look at Owens. That time spent means Jones sees potential in Ownes.

Perhaps Owens is embracing hockey and readying himself for the Canadian culture.
