Offensive lineman Brandon Washington was released by the Toronto Argonauts on Wednesday.
Washington, 29, played 18 games along the offensive line for the Argos the past two seasons including all seven games this year.
Last week’s trade that brought in three-time all-star Ryan Bomben from Montreal gave Toronto valuable ratio flexibility along the offensive line.
The team is on a bye before hosting the B.C. Lions on Aug. 18.
