The Oakland Raiders have waived defensive back Shaquille Richardson.

Richardson signed a reserve/future deal with the Raiders in January.
During the 2017 CFL season, Richardson took the starting strong-side linebacker spot from Joe Burnett and produced 48 tackles four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), one sack and one forced fumble.
The University of Arizona product was a fifth-round pick, 157th overall by Pittsburgh in the 2014 NFL draft, spending that season on the Steelers practice roster. He had stints with Chiefs, Cardinals, Titans and Panthers.
