The depth chart for Saturday’s game against the Montreal Alouettes is out and the Calgary Stampeders have listed Bo Levi Mitchell as the starter at quarterback.
Mitchell has been limited at practice this week after suffering a lower-body injury in Calgary’s win over Ottawa last Thursday. Head coach Dave Dickenson has been coy about Mitchell’s status all week with back up Nick Arbuckle taking a significant number of reps with the first team offence.
Even with Mitchell listed as the starter that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll actually start – depth charts are notoriously unreliable. But the fact that Mitchell is on the roster at all means it’s certainly possible he’ll play.
