So the CFL looks set to suspend Ottawa Redblacks linebacker Kyries Hebert for his ridiculous, dangerous and highly illegal hit on Calgary’s DaVaris Daniels, though the exact number of games hasn’t been determined.
The league has prepared a release announcing Hebert’s suspension that was briefly available on the league’s media site. It’s since been taken down but this is what it looked like:
Of course, it’s possible the communication shop is just getting its ducks in a row in case commissioner Randy Ambrosie decides to suspend Hebert but odds are they got a heads up to be ready.
