Duron Carter has two starts at defensive back and two interceptions for touchdowns.
Trevor Harris is the latest victim of Carter’s mitts on defence.

Carter made a diving grab on an errant Harris throw, got up off the turf and took it back 28 yards for a major.
Afterwards, on the sidelines, TSN mics picked up Carter saying: “Best player in the league. How many fantasy points do I get for that?”
It’s worth six for the Riders either way.
In the lead up to the Oct. 20 game in 2017, Calgary quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell warned Carter on Twitter not to play defensive back and Carter replied that the gunslinger better put his chasing cleats on. Carter delivered by picking off Mitchell and returning it for a touchdown.

In the second half, Diontae Spencer beat Carter on a go route for a 56-yard touchdown. And in the fourth quarter, Carter was flagged for pass interference and illegal contact on a receiver which drew Carter chants from the enthusiastic Ottawa crowd. The drive resulted in a touchdown for the Redblacks.
“He’s going against a very good player in Diontae Spencer who made one play against him,” head coach Chris Jones said. “Playing DB is not always glamorous.”
