Area51, I respectfully disagree with you regarding soccer interest being zero in Canada. MLS in Toronto and Vancouver has served to affect attendance at CFL games. The changing demographics in Canada have new Canadians that gravitate toward the game they know from their previous countries, and that’s usually soccer. Across the country hockey arenas are being converted to indoor soccer complexes. The CFL needs to continue investing in youth football to groom future CFL fans and find ways to convert new Canadians to love the CFL. They’ve got you and I locked in, they need to focus elsewhere. Unfortunately that can leave fans like us feeling forgotten sometimes. But, that’s progress I guess.

In reply to Steve. I mean, it's nothing compared to having a province-wide plebiscite on whether a hooded sweater should be called a bunnyhug or a hoodie, but yeah, the fastest cow race is actually pretty entertaining and actually includes a pretty athletic runner.

No surprises here, especially since Rogers came back. A roster receiver had to go, and as soon as I heard the Stamps were going with 4 INTs and 1 NAT at REC, I figured it was Parker or Lynch. Colling had injury problems, was stuck behind good NATs at DT, was drafted to fill an immediate need at the position due to injuries, and didn’t show the same kind of versatility of NAT Quinn Smith, who can play on both lines. As for the cow, he’s a year older now, and he does get beat from time to time, but he’s still the fastest thing with udders and a cape.
