Coates signed as a free agent with the Bombers last year and made seven catches for 123 yards in 18 regular season games. Over his four-year CFL career, Coates has 16 receptions for 233 yards and one touchdown in 52 games.
If Coates gets healthy it’s conceivable Winnipeg could bring him back or another CFL would take a look at the reliable receiver.
