Ticats acquire Eskimos’ first round pick in 2018 CFL draft

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have acquired a second first-round pick.

The Ticats sent a second-round selection, 10th overall and a third-rounder, 20th overall to the Edmonton Eskimos in exchange for a first-round pick, sixth overall and fifth-round choice, 37th overall.

Hamilton owns two first-round selections in the 2018 CFL draft, currently slated to pick No. 2 and 6 overall. While Edmonton is now without a first-round choice.
