Ok Sundy you now have 5 Fullbacks under contract and you need to get down to 75 players so you have to release at least 1 if not 2 by the end of the month, stop signing guys!

Bowman was a tough one but had to go for salary & they need to play the 2 24 yr olds, Williams & Mitchell. Batiste was signed but retired pushing up their plan by a year on OL- looking at possibly going 4 CDN. Howard & Hunt had 1 sack between them & have some young imports + Boateng who surprised last year – time to move on. Moore played well in short audtion. Muamba & Young weren’t going to start, Greenwood injured (again) & Konar took his job. I’d have to say their youth movement improves the team. Willis had great year but Bazzie averages same sacks/game over his career & much younger. McCarty I think could still be useful but you may be right. Signing Dupuis after getting Normand & Tuck, though he’s pretty much a ST guy, & one of the best, likely signals the end for Calvin. Very underrated much like Cote in Calgary.

I think Calvin McCarty might get released after a decade with the Eskimos.
They’ve already dropped loads of veterans in their youth movement: Adarius Bowman, Cory Watson, D’Anthony Batiste, Odell Willis, John Chick (retired), Marcus Howard, Phillip Hunt, Cory Greenwood, Cauchy Muamba and Marcel Young.
I like McCarty, but he might be the odd man out as either a running back or Fullback. CJ Gable and John White are ahead of him as feature backs. Former Bomber Christophe Normand and Alexandre Dupuis are genuine fullbacks, with size and power… and are both younger and cheaper.
