Jeff, during Brad Sinopoli’s two years as quarterback in Calgary, in the regular season, he only got to do the short yardage plays and be the holder on field goals.
He finally got to go in during garbage time in the last game if the season, but only handed off the ball, he made no pass attempts at all.
You consider this “A chance”? How can you tell from this that the other quarterbacks were superior?
I remember one preseason game that he came in
Late and DID get to play. He led the Stampeders to an exciting come from behind victory over Edmonton and looked great.
It’s a shame that he never got a proper chance to play quarterback in Calgary or Ottawa, even if things worked out well for his career, as a receiver.
