Catmando – money to go away and be quiet is paid all the time for an infinite number of legal issues. That Briles didn’t actually rape anyone and his failure to act may not be criminally chargeable does not mean his behaviour was not morally reprehensible of the highest order. Translation – Briles is a scumbag.

Some mentioned Eic Tillman in their comments. His situation is nothing to write home about with the underage baby setter in Regina. Yet he has been hired by the Eskimos and TiCats. Sounds a little hypocritical everyone jumping on Briles but seem to have forgotten Tillmans big mistake in Rider land.

Catmando, a coach is ultimately given credit or blame for the teams perfrormance on the field.
If the team is a mess off the field, the coach has to bear some responsibility as well. Briles knew what was going on and allowed it and covered it up, to try and hide the truth. He also downplayed the importance of criminal behaviour.
To him, the only thing that mattered was football and money. A messed up attitude.
What’s even more messed up? People who aren’t even friends, family members or co-workers excusing this scumbag.

Just to remind everyone, there are literally thousands of players and coaches who would love to get a job in the CFL. They shouldn’t hire known
scumbags. You gotta have some kind of standards.
