The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed former CFL all-star defensive back John Ojo to a two-year contract.
Ojo spent three seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos. He helped them win the Grey Cup in 2015 and was selected a CFL all-star that season after having five interceptions and 41 tackles.
During training camp in 2016, Ojo ruptured his Achilles and missed the entire season. He was not re-signed by the Eskimos. The New York Jets signed him in April 2017, but waived Ojo in May.
After that the 28-year-old was a free agent for the entire 2017 season.
