The Toronto Argonauts have signed international wide receiver Rodney Smith.
The 28-year-old has spent time with the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks, Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns since being signed as an undrafted free agent by the Minnesota Vikings in 2013.
He played in four regular-season games between Minnesota and Cleveland.
In 2017 NFL pre-season action with the Seahawks, the six-foot-six, 219-pound Miami native hauled in two receptions for 43 yards and a touchdown.
Smith played in 48 games, starting 34, at Florida State University where he caught 106 passes for 1,540 yards and 10 touchdowns in four seasons with the Seminoles.
