No coincidence is safe: Ambrosie and Cohon share the same birthday

So this is a little weird: former CFL commissioner Mark Cohon and current commish Randy Ambrosie share the same birthday.

The two men were unaware of the coincidence until it came to light via Twitter after the CFL extended birthday wishes to Ambrosie on Friday.

Ambrosie responded the following day, though he seemed a little shy about copping to his age (he’s 55.)

Cohon seems to be doing fine since stepping done as commissioner in early 2015. He’s chair of the Juno Awards and is the co-owner of Georgian Bay Spirits, which makes really tasty vodka and gin.
