Regina Leader-Post columnist Rob Vanstone has found a little humour in the positive drug tests of two Saskatchewan Roughriders.
Both running back Marcus Thigpen and offensive lineman Bruce Campbell have been flagged for performance-enhancing drugs in the last two months. Campbell’s two-game suspension was announced in January, Thigpen’s on Monday.

While Vanstone’s jab is pretty innocuous, there will likely be some smart alecks inclined to point out the Riders’ history of fines under Chris Jones… or that there’s a 33 per cent chance that Thigpen’s positive drug test happened during last year’s playoffs.
Surely the good fans of Roiderville will take Vanstone’s humour in the spirit intended.
