As much as I am not a happy ”let’s-bash-Manziel” fan, we have to try to be impartial. Yes, Rapaport should be called out for making fun of a mental illness, but Manziel shouldn’t have posted a picture of the clown t-shirt with the words @stoolpresidente over it. That’s provocation. I’m all for second chances and all, but if he had kept his feet on the road of respect and maturity none of this would have happened. You can like (or be keen on giving that person another chance) a person but dislike their deeds and that’s the matter here.

It may be filler, but it’s how things are. You don’t like it, don’t click it. Your comment won’t change the fact that they will continue to do it, moreover as it pertains (even remotely) to the CFL; but not just the CFL but a somewhat popular character. And you have to understand online business a bit: if an avid reader of 3downnation doesn’t have a twitter account or hasn’t heard it in the news, he or she will get that info from this site. Yes I agree, it’s not earth shattering breaking news but it’s still something new so it must be published.

This is partly true, yes now Manziel is portrayed under a new or somewhat different light, but he hasn’t turned yet into a babyface, that’ll take perhaps more time. One thing he’s not is ”universally hated” – 99% of his signature apparel ”Comeback$zn” is already sold out, so if that’s a real gauge of appreciation, he’s doing pretty well.

So no matter what people say we should never ever give them any opportunity at redeeming themselves or demonstrating us some kind of change; no we should always hang that Damocles sword on top of their head until they die because that’s what they deserve for not holding up our standards of behaviour. Yes, being unforgiving and holding resentment is the way to go! Congrats, you’re another ”perfect” person! #givemeabreak
