James Franklin becomes a father, captures experience perfectly

James Frankin became a father for the first time on Tuesday and it was clearly a transformative experience for the Toronto Argonauts quarterback.

Franklin posted a series of photos to his Twitter that included a heart-warming tribute to new mom Kaylee.

Fathers who have been lucky enough to have been present when their kids were born – I was there for the birth of my two girls – will likely recognize the accuracy in which Franklin describes the experience: utterly helpless and yet somehow an integral part of the process. It is, without question, the most incredible and impressive feat of human strength and endurance I’ve ever seen.
