Really ??? He took a potential long term financial hair cut like what is being tossed around on this post for safety? Heck, I’m surprised many former cfl coaches don’t get back up here right away lol … I sincerely doubt gun violence was the issue – if it was I think we would have heard some sort of left wing statement by now … all I know for sure is NCAA d1 has much more money to toss around than “Cash Flow Low” does … (btw I borrowed that nickname from a friend of mine who played in the cfl for 7 yrs and was a cndn all star – he also told me his college USA coaches were better than some of his cfl coaches – esp some Canadian coaches )

Snagged hime from the Argos where if Chamblin left, Steinhauer would be a perfect fit for Marc Trestman type of coach.

Some thoughts on comments above…

1.) He would need to be making $500K less exchange rate to be near his US salary…

2.) In light of the tragic school shootings and the NRA’s stranglehold on the GOP… I too wonder if the safety of his school aged children prompted the return to Canada…

3.) June Jones came out of retirement to just advise Kent Austin and probably wants to return to Hawaii sooner rather than later… so having an heir apparent makes sense…

4.) Too bad this couldn’t be announced before FA… might have convinced some defensive players to look at Ticats…

5.) Ticats DBs looked much better in second half of season… with a few new gems uncovered by Tillman our defence should be ok…
