Redblacks sign former Riders RB Marshaun Coprich

Ottawa has signed running back Marshaun Coprich.

The 23-year-old played one game for Saskatchewan in 2016 returning two kick-offs for 23 yards.

Coprich rushed for 5,196 yards and 59 touchdowns at Illinois State University from 2012-2015. The five-foot-eight, 207-pounder runner is explosive with a 39-inch vertical and 4.42 40-yard dash.

He attended training camp as an undrafted free agent with the New York Giants in 2016.
