I’d give a Reed a chance if any of his moves in 2017 actually help the team even in the slightest but all it did was make the team even worse than 2016. Horrible signings, dumped still effective players on the team for basically nothing, butted heads with his coaching staff & copied Popp’s usual decision off replacing his coach with his himself & not a qualified coach at the end of the season. Looking at his mediocre history on coaching staffs of other teams it’s no wonder fans really dislike Reed. After seeing his latest transactions, I’m not looking forward to the fresh hell Reed will be unleashing on the Montreal fanbase in 2018.

And if that happens… Kavis Reed will get a raise from his clueless owner.

And now we have no starting quarterback.

Chapdelaine’s offense was trash for 2 seasons? What?

He barely was HC for ONE, all told. With Cato, Adams, a revamped oline (removing Jacob Ruby) getting rid of toxic Carter and his minion Stafford, and support from the best defense in the league 2 years ago, Chapdelaine won the majority of his what? 6 games as HC in 2016?

After abandoning THAT very promising start, selling off the defense and bringing in (arguably) the worst starting QB in the league, for a massive salary, REED obliterated anything this team was building for the future.

It was the dissing of Cato, the decimation of the defense, the further trading of Adams that has his franchise teetering on the edge.

All of which is on Kavis *&%^$ Reed.

I would think that when you are on the field more times than any other LB in the league you may make some questionable hits.
With Ottawa’s offense marching up and down the field he should have a lot of rest

Their defense was on the field twice as long as most teams last year.
For a guy at his age it’s pretty remarkable that he made so many tackles and was on the field more often than most LBs in the league!!
He is going to be a great asset to Ottawa, they have signed him for one year, it give them a chance to find a permanent replacement in next years draft or they find an ex-NFL or NCAA player coming out of the training camp

It seems everyone leaves Popp out when determini’s give Reed a chance… he’s already found better coaching ng cause of the Mtl situation. Since Poppp mistakenly thought he could do everything – coach & GM – he didn’t do anything very well… Popp left nothing on the roster for long term and Reed came in and found nothing but a bare bones and old team… AC is not and may never be a competent OC… Trestman’s last 2 years weren’t the best quality and Popp never found anyone decent to replace him… Let’s give Reed a chance, he’s already found better coaching than Popp has in the last 5 years of his reign…

Thorpe was fired because he wanted to be in consideration for HC. Chapdelaine’s Offense was Trash for 2 seasons. Only reason he was given HC position was because he was a Fracophone and owners thought it could help with the local fan base…WRONG! Mtl has been bad b4 Kavis took over…seems almost racist that you like to pin blame on Reed for everything just sad. They were the Oldest team in CFL and had missed the last 2 playoffs! Fired them at halfway point! Jacques has been bad thats why he keeps getting fired! Hmmm Glenn was last yrs starter…did much better in Sask…Bridge better in Sask. Adams, the QB that got Chapdelaine his chance in Montreal going 3-0 didn’t have a good relationship with Chapdelaine at all. Sooo…it seems to easy for you guys to pile on Kavis but reality is he is still fixing Popps mess!
