The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have agreed to terms with Canadian linebacker Nick Shortillto a two-year deal.
The 25-year-old played in 10 games last season making seven defensive tackles and 14 special teams tackles.
A second-round pick of the Montreal Alouettes in 2015, Shortill is an excellent special teamer who has potential as a ratio-breaker if he can stay healthy.
Shortill was acquired last February in a trade that sent fellow Canadian linebacker Frederic Plesius to the Alouettes.
