Ottawa haw signed defensive back Loucheiz Purifoy to a one-year contract for the 2018 season.
The 25-year-old played two seasons with the BC Lions. He recorded 49 defensive tackles and three interceptions while playing in all 18 games in 2017.
“Loucheiz is a skilled player that makes impact plays on the field,” said Redblacks head coach Rick Campbell in a statement. “We’re excited that he’s joining the Redblacks.”
