This makes all the sense in the world. Now you rotate not just Canadians at RB. But Home grown Winnipeg boys. They don’t have to mess with the ratio when either RBs come out.
This home boy and Nic Demsky are good pulls from SK. No different than when SK pulled from Winnipeg O-lineman Brendon LaBatte back to his home in SK

Looks good to me and no reason can’t have Harris, Flanders and LaFrance on the field at same time. With a 2 back set and one as a slot or wing back. With all the motion options could be deadly.

In reply to Bomberland. He was released by the Riders because he was a big disappointment. His worth went up after one good playoff and Grey Cup game with Ottawa. Ottawa was willing to let him go. He is a good backup player nothing more.

Agreed – I’ve been whining ad nauseam about needing help on D, but I’ll give the Blue some credit on this one – smart signing to have a capable Canuck to back up a guy like Harris.
Also… I guess if the Riders released him to avoid the bonus, i.e. not under contract, those wailing about “tampering” can hold their tongue. (ok… can we sign a MLB now?)

A good signing for the Blue. Harris isn’t young and puts a lot of mileage on himself over a season. Two good Canuck signings with Demski and LaFrance with both of them having local connections.
