Two-time all-star DB Jamar Wall staying with Stamps

Veteran defensive back Jamar Wall has agreed to terms on a one-year extension in Calgary, per sources.

Since coming to the Stamps in 2012, Wall has been a reliable presence in the back end. Over six seasons in Calgary the Texas Tech product has made 305 tackles, 18 interceptions, four forced fumbles, scored four defensive touchdowns and notched two sacks in 97 games. Wall has played in every Stampeder game each of the last four seasons and named a CFL all-star twice in that span, 2014 and 2016.

The 30-year-old was selected by Dallas in the sixth round, 196th overall in the 2010 NFL draft and spent time with the Cowboys, Texans and Eagles.
