Stillwagon was one of those great players brought to Canada by Leo Cahill. My Dad and I had season’s tickets then, and we never missed a game. He was
part of the “greatest team that never won,” the Grey Cup along with Joe Theismann, Leon McQuay, Bill Symons, Mel Profit, Dave Raimey, Marv Luster,
Gene Mack and Dick Thornton, to name a few.

I remember him too. Back in 1967 when I became a Lions’ fan, Argo were my second favourite team. I remember him as well as guys like Wally Gabler, Jim Dillard, Jim Dye, Jim Rountree, Mel Profit, Bobby Taylor and others. Stillwagon was solid on that D-Line.
