3 Down nation should repost what Lalji corrected. That $350 difference was the initial positions. For what ever reason drew Edwards is so biased that he will not change that headline nor report Lalji things there are philosophical differences probably more than salary. He even stated that paying Manziel the same as Masoli plus same incentives would not be surprising.

Sign or not, the issue here is the archaic neg list. Ok, so Hamilton won’t meet Manziel demands….fair enough, but to then let this guy rot forever must be in restraint of trade……if I’m Manziel, I’m suing the CFL and the cats…….fix this damn neg list issue.

$150,000 is too much already to offer a guy that has not proven himself in the CFL. Maybe if the offer was incentive laden to get to $150,000 it would be more like it.

Lalji clarified hat he was really saying. He does not have a source and I appreciate he cleared up matters. The thought of both Manziel and mazoli both making same amount is plausible according to Lalji. The issue in negotiations could be philosopybof who may be the starter. This could be resolved with Manziel earning the starter job when June Jones thinks he is ready. What is in it for mazoli May be Johnny Manziel has contract in second year to release him to nfl.
Manziel is coming to compete and I am sure they are confident he will be starter at appropriate time

Masoli may have made $250K before re-signing.

His new deal is reported for the first year to have a $125K signing bonus, “hard money” of $235K and the potential of another $90K in playing time money. It looks like if Masoli is on the roster all season, a minimum of $360K with a top end of $450K.

It looks like the difference is anywhere from $250K to $300K, depending on whether the performance bonus kicks in.

Of course if the agent meant Collaros’ old contract of $500K+ then a difference of $350K+ makes sense.
