The 2012 Heisman Trophy winner has a self-imposed deadline to get a deal done with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats that is supposed to end today, Jan. 31.
“If we cannot reach a deal with Hamilton by this date, we will turn our focus to several other professional options readily available to us,” agent Erik Burkhardt said in an early January statement.
The time has passed to climb back on the Manziel bandwagon, but the clock is ticking towards the deadline.
