The best player in the league last year? He wasn’t even the best receiver in the league. Certainly wasn’t the best DB and wasn’t the best returner either. He wasn’t even the best of any of those positions on his own team. I would take Roosevelt over Carter any day. Roosevelt plays his position very well in a quiet, confident and undemamding manner. He takes very few penalties and isn’t constantly in everyone’s face. Most CFL fans are not jealous of the Riders for having him but rather thankful that their team does not have anyone that cocky, arrogant and always on the brink of imploding. The only thing that Carter is number one at is shooting off his mouth. He has a childish need for attention. He is like the five year old kid who constantly tugs at his mother’s sleeve to get her attention and any one else’s attention. Except Carter tugs at Jones and the QBs and the media. Nothing to be bitter about as long as he is on another team, not embarrassing your favorite team.

Let me see Heath starts this garbage talk but it is Carter and now Jones at fault.
Geez people should be made to complete high school. If Carterstarted this he would be the bad guy, so logic dictates Heath could keep his opinions to himself and fans need to grow up.

Yup. Both sure are great players. I’d take either one on my team. Both are talented and intelligent. Carter is more outspoken but that’s his character.

And readers are taking this banter way too literally.

Some podcastets have said this is one of the busiest off seasons in a while… I agree. And certainly 3downnation has made a great contribution to this off season talk.

In reply to Thor. Agreed. Heath has made one comment lately but Carter has given his opinion on everything. I think he needs to see his name in print. Part of his security blanket. I really don't blame Heath for having had enough of Duron's constant chirping.
