I enjoy football any chance I get. Love that expensive cable.
Which I doult the CFL gets much of $ were as the NFL, (Well, insert joke here) are capitilizing HUGE.
The XFL would need a neutral commish… How about Trump…
He should be out of a job by then.

Then maybe the league should look cutting rosters to 40 Player
The Riders make ton on Money and The Argo now have deep pockets
Called MLSE Bob young has deep pockets too there just being cheep
because careers are so short. Players should be make a hundred thousand a year anyways

Actually, the X in XFL didn’t stand for eXtreme. It stood for nothing, McMahon said. The X was just an X, there because it was cooler than an N.

They can’t afford an increase in the salary cap, most teams are losing money. The successful high attendance teams like the Esks and Riders are only making a small profit.
It’s a gate driven league and don’t expect any more money in 2022 from the shrinking TV audience.
The CFL could lose a number of players and coaches and then afford to give their players more money.

The great thing about it is that football can become a 12 month sport. The CFL from June to November, the NFL September to January, the XFL February to May.

40 player rosters? that could be something for the CFL to consider. How about 40 players sharing the salary cap instead of 46. Or with so many CFL teams losing money the owners could take the savings.
While they are at they could lose a few coaches too.

The CFL needs to increase the salary cap significantly (by $1 million per team) to address the lower end salaries.

Hoping the XFL Makes it this time but I don’t have High hopes
The CFLPA needs the XFL to be a real competitor for talent
This will push Salary cap up in both leagues
56,000 CND is around 45,000 US it’s not enough for players .
especially when salaries are not guaranteed in the CFL
