Landscape has changed since the first XFL, think what you will of Vi, but he does learn from his mistakes. Very nice stadiums in St.Louis /Oakland /San Diago now with no NFL teams. Former CFL locations like San Antonio/Memphis/Sacramento/Shreivport will buy in. That is 7 good locations already without giving much thought.The CFL has OPENED the traditional NFL only minds of the american football fan, who would embrace watching good football until the NFL/College season starts. IF done right theCFL could be in BIG trouble here if they don’t get their act together . Don’t kid yourself , Vince’s WWE has a Canadian audience, Vince having done House Shows in most provinces would certainly have a feel for the CDn football fan base and likely would move XFL franchises to locations like Winnipeg /Ottawa / Saskatchewan / Edmonton/ Hamilton should the CFL falter. Regarding salary, look at Wilders situation , any American player would take say salaries in the 70-80k american $$$ to play at HOME , and possibly have an NFL shot once a XFL contract is done!!! The XFL is serious REAL threat !!! Vinces million from WWE will support it , and as pointed out Vince is despirate to have a legacy HE build from scratch , not just living off his fathers start up!!!! His EGO demands it !!!

In reply to Michael Kulyk. Possibly in 2020 he could play in the XFL. Based on his talk of interest from NFL teams, it seems more likely he wants to play in the 2019 in the NFL.

2020 could be a great year: Trump loses election by a landslide, despondently returns to owning an XFL team, and runs the league back into the dust.
