Source for the 10 million? Just your opinion or perhaps you read it in one article somewhere. Are the Argos losing money? Of course. How exactly do you know the number???

A couple of years back it was announced that were 7 different groups interested. Do you have a source to refer to or is that just your opinion that there are No buyers?

Oh, the great aging fan base myth. Great story to tell in the media but it sure doesn't seem accurate when attending games.
As a decades long season ticket holder, I actually look at the make up of the crowd on game days. Sure, you see grey hair just like at Leaf and Jays games. I also see university aged fans, high school fans and young children with their parents. Just like the "nobody cares" myth in Toronto, but somehow no one can explain the solid TV ratings.

And Rick, don't be such a baby... the skytrain takes you right down there. Take a little time to figure it out and there's lots of parking... ie.: Library Square – cheap parking and close. It's a big city now. You don't hear Canucks or Whitecap fans whining about getting to the game. The Shark Club is right by it and a great place to chill and let the traffic die after the game. Skulsky made a huge mistake not blacking out games... it's way to easy after a long day, to crack a beer, turn on the game and enjoy it at home. I've been guilty of this myself... if they were blacked out, I definitely would have gone. Only gripe about BC Place... is the open roof... it's more like a little sunroof on a Mazda, then a proper retractable roof.

The Lions will break even with 20,000 in the stands... so this past season, I would think they lost some money as they averaged a couple of thousand under that. But for a large size business – it's almost good and they can write off some taxes. The problem is when fans think of the Lions, they see an old tired owner who's just putting in time...and not wanting to spend money. there is no buzz, no crazy signings, nothing to spark interest aside from new uniforms. I still enjoy the games at BC Place, and you get ripped off at a Canucks or Seahawks game just the same as you do at a Lions game buying expensive hot dogs. I don't mind... tickets are only about $40 and it's a great night out. A new owner will inject some life into the team and create some energy... Mr. Braley, Skulsky, Buono... love em all to death, but it's time to go! Hope Hervey can shake things up. And as a fan, I'll be eternally grateful for all that Mr. Braley has done. There is a group called the Waterboys – who are a team of business men who want to purchase the team... if they can replicate what Ottawa has done, create an amazing atmosphere and make the Lions the toast of the town, the fans will come back. Whitecaps and Seahawks came in and stole the cache. #bringitback

I think the problem is the stadium. Games start at 7 but traffic is murder down there until well after 7. Then you have to find parking and when you do that will be 25 bucks and a long walk to your seat. Not to mention a frisk at the door and 10 bucks for a hotdog. Thas why I don't go anymore. Over priced seats, parking and food and all the hassle to get there. They need a new 25000 seater out in Surrey because the trend is to watch the games on TV. I don't see that changing given the huge number of entertainment choices around larger cities. Fewer people each year are willing to get raped just to see a game live in a less than half full stadium.

Having a corporation own a team is not ideal.
A rich individual owner can run a team at a loss and he answers to no one.
A corporation will not put up with losses and small crowds.

This is the same problem that the Argos have but not as bad. An aging fan base, dwindling attendance. When you have an aging fan base and dwindling fan base, advertisers don't want to advertise. Advertisers need the younger fan base, older fans are not influenced by advertising.
