In reply to Randy. Randy, no one makes a trade and told by the other team what they can and can't do with their own players. Collaros is Sask's rights now. He has to sign and make the team. If Bridge wins the job and another QB looks great they can trade him where they want. If you hear that, and I want to know where, that is some BS you were filled with. Either way, I think he will be great again.

There was more to this deal then was published . Apparently part of the trade deal was that ssk could not flip collaros to mtl or tor . If true good move by the cats to keep him in west .that being said I think you will see collaros will be nothing more than mediocre in ssk!#masoli#1

He’s better off taking less to be the final piece on a loaded team which will allow him to get back to that Reilly level of play he played at before

Zacks new contract is heavy much lighter on the guarantee side and much heavier loaded on the Grey Cup side. So if Zach wins out the starting position in camp. If he then has a great first half of the season. Look for Chris Jones to move somebody in a trade for a draft pick by labour day to make room to have coin within the cap to pay Zack on a great second half of the season.

Ok, so if Scianitti’s reports are accurate, Collaros will still be paid more than Trevor Harris who is reported to be making $450k.

Considering the Riders paid all of their 2017 QBs less than $400k combined, you have to wonder who is taking pay cuts, released, traded or not re-signed.

Seems like the investigative one always "assumes" the Green and White exceed salary cap guidelines. But other teams, such as Edmonton, are below the guidelines. Funny, eh, horsee?
