After spending three seasons in Hamilton as the team’s offensive coordinator, Condell was hired as a special advisor by Toronto in January 2016 and when Marc Trestman came in he became the receivers coach. S.J. Green, Armanti Edwards and Grey Cup MVP DeVier Posey had career-best campaigns under Condell’s tutelage.
Cortez has been in and out of the CFL since 1984, winning five Grey Cups in that span. He served as offensive coordinator for the Stampeders, Riders, Ticats and Lions. Most recently he was in the CFL in 2015 as B.C.’s offensive coordinator, a role Khari Jones held before was hired by the Alouettes for the same position.
