Zach Collaros is due to be the highest paid player in the CFL for the 2018 season at over $500,000.
But as Sportsnet’s Arash Madani reports that could change.
Per #CFL sources: Expect the Riders and Zach Collaros to work on negotiating an extension and a re-worked contract in the aftermath of the trade to Saskatchewan. Unlikely that Collaros will play 2018 under the terms of his present deal (over $500,000).

The 29-year-old is due a $200,000 roster bonus on February 1.
Collaros has played in 59 career CFL games with the Argos (2012-13) and Ticats (2014-17) and accumulated 1,127 pass completions on 1,694 attempts (66.5 completion percentage) for 13,759 yards, 83 touchdowns and 38 interceptions.
