I’m absolutely not a KA fan and the sooner he’s gone the better … but you are off a year in your recounting of history …. Cats lost the GC with Collaros as QB in 2014: Collaros was having a MOP season prior to his knee injury in 2015. Cats absolutely sucked in 2016 even after Collaros returned from injury midway through the season. KA should never have been extended for 3yrs for mega bucks after that stinker of a season.

Masoli is #1 I highly doubt johnny m is gonna come down here and steal his job in camp so he is back up and grooms in the backup role
That’s even if he makes it through camp even if he get a half decent contract it will most likely have no gaurenteed money unless he makes it through camp so everyone hold on to your tighty whities let’s show our team some confidence they are moving in the right direction some of you are starting to depress me !

It may have been the best deal, especially since other teams knew the alternative scenario was cutting the guy loose. This is far better than potentially seeing him picked up by a division rival (which could still happen depending on the outcome of contract renegotiation and what happens before the season with Riderville QB evaluation)

He’s on a 500k deal, what were the Cats supposed to get for a guy coming of a mediocre half season and not looking near the player he was before he got hurt?
