The Saskatchewan Roughriders have locked down a key piece of their offensive line.
Right tackle Thaddeus Coleman, who started all 18 regular season games and both playoff contests last season, has agreed to a two-year contract extension through 2019.
The 6-foot-7, 320-pound Coleman was named the Riders’ Most Outstanding Offensive Lineman in 2016.
The 32-year-old Coleman was acquired in May 2016 in a deal with the Eskimos that saw the Riders send two neg list players to Edmonton. He has played five CFL seasons.
