Defensive back Jovon Johnson has signed an extension with the Riders through the 2018 season.
The 34-year-old was set to become a free agent on Feb. 13.
Johnson had 39 tackles and two interceptions over 18-regular-season games with the Riders. The 11-year CFL veteran has also spent time with Winnipeg, Ottawa and Montreal.
