Gable was great, but Green made him expendable. I would love to see Speedy B back, but this doesn’t look so good. This guy can dominate games like very few others. He’s a thoroughbred.

seems to me Speedy is going the same rout Chris Williams took, doubt he will be back. loyalty not in the books for him. After what the Ti cats did for him and his problems back home. I as a fan tried to follow him on twitter and no reply. and really whats the point in hideing your twitter feed. Never was before. Strange i must say. pissed he had to take a pay cut.

In reply to Garney. It's clear that the Cat organization and no doubt KA (though not directly mentioned) are targeted by both players in their dialogue. And it's clearly justifiable because both players were misused terribly (Gable for years as a full-time blocker and BB for much of 2016/17). Both players have flourished under new coaches and systems. And I wish them well going forward.

In reply to Randy. Calgary for the last couple years has been showing cracks in the ALL for One chant , see the throwing of teammates under the bus publically after the GREY Cup and Dickensons weak reaction to that as signs of a possible other team moving into trouble.

In reply to TJ. Interesting , but Banks is a bit short for a receiver in Jones opinion ; granted they have Owens but I believe that is a relationship based 1off. Besides the Riders are kind of set regarding returners: Jones (the player), Thigpen, Owens , Morris, Demski (granted morris/demski are free agents) , Gainey/Carter as emergency guys ( yes I know Carter is a FA ). But the idea is interesting as Coach Jones does value speed athletisism above all else
