What Andrew Wetenhall has been thinking hiring Reed as GM is beyond mental sanity, especially when he interviewed Sunderland, who began in football scouting when he had diapers.

Everything obvious to everyone seems overlooked by the Wetenhalls.

Exactly. If Reed stays as GM and Sleepy Joe Mack to lead the scouts, even Marc Trestman would be in for a disaster. So it’s probably be a desperate guy like Chamblin, Stubler or Bellefeuille who will take over and make this mess worse than it is.

Was it the way in which Kavis speaks softly yet it’s at a normal volume level. Combined with the new words he looks up in the dictionary each week and interjects those words into CFL jargon? Example… We were much more forensic this week in practise! What? Everybody pitched in to find clues on whether or not the O’linemans lost contact lense was knocked out by clean defensive play. Or was it worthy of a penalty. Followed by the remaining clues on where it could be. Cause that sure would be forensic.
Everything in the world of CFL football success pointed to the release of Kavis Reed and the hiring of Ed Hervey earlier this calendar year. Hell even Wally Buono the leagues most successful GM\Head Coach knew that and hired Ed to replace himself at GM.
It dosent take a rocket scientist to figure out whom ever leaves his position as a coordinator to be the head coach of a team flopping around like a fish out of water. Combined with the leadership coming from a man who has no experience as a GM and has climbed the CFL latter with a spotty record at each of his previous positions. If I was a DC in Calgary. I would stay put. Instead of taking over a real ugly mess.

i think the top brass have lost perspective and a whole house cleaning would do this franchise best. From the owners down to kavis. and ditching that stupid unclassy cartoon logo would be a start. get that iconic 1970s logo back. you don’t see a growling Youppi as the Habs logo, do you.

I agree there is going to be a level of stability in the CFL coaches after a period of mass change the past couple of years. However, besides BC, I also believe there will be another wholesale change in Montreal next year as well. This is not going to end well for Reed…

No it didnt start with kavis, but montreal regressed this season from the previous 2 seasons. They are much worse than last years team, especially after kavis fired thorpe. Paying big bucks for durant, releasing, not trading, bear woods, keeping nik lewis over sj green. Lots of head shaking decisions.
