Missed pass interference call costs Argos valuable points in Grey Cup

Published on

A blatant missed pass interference call cost the Argos a chance to extend a key third-quarter drive.

On second and nine from the Calgary 53, Ricky Ray threw a ball intended for S.J. Green, which went incomplete. But rookie Stampeders defensive back Tunde Adeleke committed a clear pass interference call that on the play. No flag was thrown on the play as the drive stalled.

A veteran defensive back watching the game felt it clearly should have been a flag.
